Our Nigeria visit was filled with sights and sounds of our brothers and sisters from the East to the South West! We traveled first to Igbo land in Eastern Nigeria. We visited Anambra and Enugu States. We were invited to Aguleri by his Majesty Eze Chuckwuemeka Eri of Aguleri to attend the annual Eri festival. The festival began in the 1800s as a way of uniting the Igbo people. Today, with his Majesty’s leadership, the festival continues to influence the Igbo community and remains committed to reunifying Africans all over the world!!!
During our visit to the East, we were the honored guests at the State House of the Governor of Enugu State, his Excellency Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. It was an amazing welcome!!
At the conclusion of our visit to the East, we traveled to the Southwest were we visited Oshogbo and Ile Ife. We were honored to visit the Palace of his Majesty Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Oni of Ife!!
