I finally took the test to determine my DNA. The process was quite easy. I ordered a DNA kit from www.ancestry.com.
It took about 3 weeks for me to receive my results. I was a little surprised when I read my results.
If you would like to hear more on my reaction to my test results or in general my feelings towards the DNA process, you can listen to my comments here.
I encourage every African to go through this process of testing their DNA. By testing your DNA with www.23andme.com or www.ancestry.com and sharing your results, you could be helping someone find the answers to the question “where do I come from?”.
I have dedicated my work to helping families in the Diaspora find the answers to the questions about their ancestors in hopes of re-connecting the African family. You can contact me at www.rootstoglory.com or by email rootstoglorytours@gmail.com.
My complete test results can be found here.
Thank you for being tested and encouraging others to do the same. I have been tested and my strongest DNA African ancestry is with the Nigerian Fulani people. I’m hoping to make a DNA connection with African relatives.
Hello Patty,
I appreciate your message. What is your strongest percentage?
Hi Patty, I was born in Cameroon so my percentage is 84% Cameroonian. I am first generation Cameroonian.

That is wonderful to hear. You must have used the African Ancestry test? If so, I would suggest that you also use the ancestry.com test and put your results in http://www.gedmatch.com to better find your DNA match from Africa. Let me know if I can help you further.
