DAY 1: ARRIVE IN ACCRA GHANA
- Arrive at Kotoka International Airport, Accra
- Transfer to hotel for check-in
- Breakfast
- Rest – Seamstress arrives to take measurements to have clothing made – go to the local market to purchase fabric (optional)
- Evening: Briefing and orientation; and an introductory lecture on Ghana’s history; traditional drumming and dancing.

DAY 2: ACCRA
- After breakfast, city tour of Accra which includes museums, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, WE De Bois Center
- Visit arts center
- Visit local art galleries
- Visit local bead making center
- Dinner
DAY 3: ACCRA – KUMASI
- After breakfast travel to Kumasi which is the headquarters of the Ashanti people (4hours)
- Visit Kente making village
- Visit Adrinkra fabric making center
- Visit stool makers
- Check into Hotel
- Dinner
DAY 4: KUMASI
- After breakfast, visit the Ashanti Palace Museum
- Visit Center for National Culture in Kumasi
- Dinner
DAY 5: KUMASI – ASSIN MANSO SLAVE RIVER – ELMINA
- After breakfast, travel to Assin Manso Slave River where the enslaved had their last baths (3 hours)
- Walking tour of Elmina and tour of the Slave Castle
- Check into Hotel
DAY 6: ELMINA – CAPE COAST
- After breakfast travel to Cape Coast Castle for a tour
- African Naming Ceremony (optional)
- Visit fishing village
- Dinner
DAY 7: CAPE COAST
- REST ON THE BEACH
DAY 8: CAPE COAST
- After breakfast visit local villages or other local activities
- Dinner
DAY 9: CAPE COAST
- After breakfast travel to Accra
- Check into Hotel
- Rest

DAY 10: ACCRA – USA
- After breakfast
- Last-minute shopping
