Cameroon often referred to as Africa in miniature is a very special country with over 250 ethic groups and 10 regions.
Each ethnic group has their own culture and tradition. We will be taking part in one of the oldest festivals in Africa, the Unesco designated Nguon Festival.
The current King Njoya, 28 is the 20th king in a ruling dynasty dating back to the late 14th century. The Bamoun Kingdom is among the most famous traditional kingdoms on the African continent; they have the historical distinction of having invented, at the end of the 19th century, their own phonetic script. Some estimates put the number of Bamoun worldwide at 1.25 million people.
We will also spend quality time with the Tikar and some with the Bamileke. We will end our tour on the beach of Kribi as we bid farewell to our beloved friends, family while spreading their ashes in the most respected way.
